Frequently asked questions

What is Daily?
Daily is a life calendar and habit tracker for iPhone that turns your lock screen into a living calendar. You see your whole month, year, and habits as your wallpaper, and each day you finish fills in green. It's a calmer way to stay on track without opening another app.
How do I put a calendar on my iPhone lock screen?
Add your events and habits in Daily, choose a calendar view (month, week, or year), and Daily generates a wallpaper. Set it as your lock or home screen, then add the built-in iOS Shortcut so it refreshes automatically every day. No jailbreak and no extra apps are needed.
Does the calendar wallpaper update automatically?
Yes. Daily includes an iOS Shortcuts automation that regenerates your calendar wallpaper on a schedule — typically once a day — so the current date, your events, and completed habits always stay accurate. You set it up once, and after that it runs in the background without any tapping.
Is Daily free?
Yes. Daily is free to download and includes the calendar wallpaper, month/week/year views, habit tracking with streaks, home-screen widgets, and iCloud sync. Daily Premium — a monthly or yearly subscription, or a one-time Lifetime unlock — adds every theme, the priority matrix, and photo-gallery wallpapers.
Is Daily a habit tracker too?
Yes. Alongside the calendar, Daily tracks daily habits with custom emojis, swipe-to-complete, reminders, and streaks. A GitHub-style contribution graph shows your consistency over time, and finished days turn green on your wallpaper — so your habit progress lives on your lock screen, not buried in an app.
What is the year (life calendar) view?
The year view shows all 365 days as a grid of dots on your wallpaper, with a ‘days left’ and percentage line. Days you complete fill in, so you can see how much of the year is gone and how much is left — a memento-mori style nudge to use your time well.
Does Daily work with Apple Calendar and iCloud?
Yes. Daily can show your existing Apple Calendar events and Reminders, so you don't have to enter anything twice. Your calendars, habits, and settings sync across your iPhone and iPad through iCloud, keeping everything consistent on every device automatically.
Is Daily available on Android?
Daily is currently an iPhone app, built around iOS wallpapers, widgets, and Shortcuts automations that keep your calendar up to date. An Android version isn't available yet. If you're on iPhone or iPad, you can download Daily free from the App Store and set it up in a couple of minutes.
